This set of 2 Plantish’s dishwashing loofah sponges are made from the fibrous part of the loofah plant, unbleached, hand cut and is 100% biodegradable and compostable. Our loofah sponges have a softer side that lathers up soap effectively while the other side is hard enough to scrub stubborn stains without scratching non-stick pans, smooth plates & other scratch-afraid item.

These natural plant sponges are a great eco friendly alternative to wash dishes or clean counter tops.

For first time users, loofah dishwashing sponge is hard out of the water but expands, and becomes soft and absorbent when you soak it in water.

How to use Loofah dishwashing sponge

Before first use or after it had completely dried off, soak it in water for a minute or so to allow it to expand and soften before using.

Scrub pots, dishes, and other surfaces with dish soap as needed. The loofah sponge will start sudsing really well from scrubbing.

When it becomes smelly or once a week, boil in clean water for a minute or two to disinfect. 

Properly care for the sponges by placing them near the window or well-ventilated areas, this will help to increase the loofah's lifespan.

    Awesome eco sponges

    They come very thin, so there perfect for storage before use. They fluff right up when you add water and have a durable material for hard scrubbing. I haven't had to throw it out yet, long lasting and nice look.
